Full Description

Linear banked features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs on Higher Hill Bottom, Cerne Abbas (1, 2). The features are considered likely to form part of an Iron Age/Romano-British field system that extends around the south side of Higher Hill Bottom. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

The features are still clearly visible on current Google Earth imagery.
