Two sub-circular pits are visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery on South Field Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1). The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is also visible on current Google Earth imagery.
