Summary

Banked linear features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on Grimstone Down, Stratton. The features are situated within an extensive Iron Age/Romano-British field system (MDO42865) and may be associated with this, but their straight narrow character suggests field boundaries of possible post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
