Full Description
A number of banked linear and curvilinear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Hyde Crook House, Frampton (1). The features may be field boundaries, possibly of late prehistoric date and associated with the Iron Age/Romano-British field system (MDO42838) to the northwest. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
Some of the features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery, with some to the west under
modern plantation.
