Full Description
Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs in a field to the south of Crockway Farm, Maiden Newton (1). The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries and possibly drainage ditches of probable post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
Some of the features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
