Full Description
Banked and ditched curvilinear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery in a field to the northeast of Notton, Maiden Newton (1, 2). The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
