Full Description
A broad banked curvilinear feature is faintly visible as an earthwork on current Lidar imagery on the east side of Cruxton Manor Farm, Maiden Newton (1). The feature is just under 5m wide and curves from northwest to southeast around the east side of Manor Farm House. It may continue south beyond the boundary hedge. The feature is faint but may be a field or enclosure boundary, possibly of medieval date, although an older origin is possible. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
