Linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs in fields to the north of Notton Farm, Maiden Newton (1). The features are considered likely to be post medieval drainage ditches. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Some of the features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery (2).
