A small area of probable medieval ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as earthworks to the northeast of Notton Farm, Maiden Newton, on 1940s aerial photographs and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project (1).

The features are no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery.
