Summary
The Pillbox Study Group list the site of a former Second World War flame fougasse at about this location, adjacent to Greenford lane. Such installations were improvised explosive devices utilising an explosive charge to project ignited fuel or flammable liquid over a target.

Although listed by the PSG as of uncertain status, it is presumed that the fougasse has been removed.
