Summary
The Pillbox Study Group note a small complex of military trenches at approximately this location, visible on the low East Cliff on Royal Air Force vertical aerial photographs dated March 1948. The complex comprise an irregular zig-zag trench along the cliff front and a single 'dog-leg' trench leading back to the rear.

Full Description
The trenches are not evident on more recent aerial photography and are presumed to have been infilled, although it is also possible that some parts may have been lost to coastal erosion.
