Summary

The Pillbox Study Group note the 1958 Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map indicates the former position of a segmented, precast concrete Stanton-type air-raid shelter toward the south end of Greystones Close.

Part of a group of at least four Stanton shelters. All have been removed and the area developed for domestic housing.
