Summary

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs in fields to the west of Lower Combe Farm, Rampisham. The features are considered to be part of a medieval field system, partially marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map, and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs in fields to the west of Lower Combe Farm, Rampisham [1-2]. The features are considered to be part of a medieval field system, partially marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map, and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
