Summary

Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1970 in fields to the southwest of Lower Wraxall. The features are still visible on Google Earth photographs taken in 2017 and they were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1970 in fields to the southwest of Lower Wraxall [1]. The features are still visible on Google Earth photographs taken in 2017 [2] and they were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
