Full Description
The probable site of a post medieval chalk pit is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the southwest of Chantmarle Moor, Cattistock [1]. The outline of the earthworks is defined by a ring of trees on the OS 1st Edition map [2]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
