Two old chalk pits are marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the northwest of Grexy Cross, East Chelborough. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
Two old chalk pits are marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the northwest of Grexy Cross, East Chelborough [1]. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 [2] and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. They have since been plough-levelled [3].
