Summary
Three Old Chalk Pits are shown on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the northeast of Wraxall Wood, Higher Wraxall. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. They are associated with a number of smaller, presumably contemporary, pits.

Three Old Chalk Pits are shown on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the northeast of Wraxall Wood, Higher Wraxall [1]. They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs [2] and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. They are associated with a number of smaller, presumably contemporary, pits.
