Two Old Chalk Pits are marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north of Rampisham Wood [1]. They are visible as earthworks under trees on aerial photographs [2] and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
