Summary

The highly fragmentary remains of an Iron Age/Rb field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of the supposed Roman Road (A356). The scattered remnants of field boundaries and lynchets were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

The highly fragmentary remains of an Iron Age/Rb field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery[1] to the south of the supposed Roman Road (A356). The scattered remnants of field boundaries and lynchets were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The features are continuation of the field system described in MDO42160.
