Summary

A lynchet and hollow (possibly a trackway) are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field immediately to the west of Lower Toller Farm. The features are considered likely to be of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The site of a monastery is marked at this location on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map [2].

Full Description

A lynchet and hollow (possibly a trackway) are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field immediately to the west of Lower Toller Farm [1]. The features are considered likely to be of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The site of a monastery is marked at this location on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map [2].
