Faint traces of a medieval strip field system, including traces of ridge and furrow cultivation, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north and west of the dismantled railway, Frome Vauchurch [1]. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
