Summary

A well-preserved system of post medieval water meadows is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the valley of the River Hooke to the north of Toller Fratrum. Multiple sluices are marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map. The features extend for 1.5km and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

A well-preserved system of post medieval water meadows is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the valley of the River Hooke to the north of Toller Fratrum [1-2]. Multiple sluices are marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map [3]. The features extend for 1.5 km and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
