Summary

Parallel ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the east side of the River Hooke, Toller Porcorum. Two sluices are marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map in the vicinity of the features which are considered to be drains, possibly part of a water meadow. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

Parallel ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the east side of the River Hooke, Toller Porcorum [1-2]. Two sluices are marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map in the vicinity of the features [3] which are considered to be drains, possibly part of a water meadow. The features were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
