Full Description
A scatter of rounded hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Luxmore Hill Plantation, Chilfrome [1]. They are scattered across the prehistoric field system described in MDO42160 and one is cut into the bank of the enclosure described in MDO42163. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
