A scatter of rounded hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the northeast of the A356, Chilfrome [1]. They are scattered across the extensive prehistoric field system described in MDO42160 and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
