Full Description
A wide scatter of rounded hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on Whitesheet Hill, Chilfrome [1]. They are scattered across an extensive prehistoric and medieval field system (MDO42160) and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.
