A disused chalk pit is marked as 'Pit (Disused) on the Ordnance Survey MasterMap to the south of Daws Hill Coppice, Chilfrome [1]. The site is one of three hollows visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project [2].
