Two hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the higher slopes to the east of West Norden Farm, Cattistock [1]. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. They are still extant on the latest Google Earth imagery [2].
