Summary

An 18th century road bridge over the River Lydden of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The bridge has two segmental arches with an ashlar band above. The bridge parapet and cutwaters have finishes of ashlar. The bridge has a plaque warning that the penalty for malicious damage to the bridge is transportation for life.
