Full Description
An 'Old Chalk Pit' is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north of Broom Farm, Toller Porcorum [1]. It is one of two extractive hollows which are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project [2].
