Full Description
An 'Old Chalk Pit' is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the north or the River Hooke, Toller Fratrum [1]. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and is one of a linear group of hollows digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project [2].
