An 'Old Chalk Pit' is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the east of Manor Farm, Wynford Eagle [1]. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project [2].
