A gravel pit is marked on the 1st edition 1:25-inch scale Ordnance Survey map to the west of Tollerford Iron Works, Frome Vauchurch [1]. The site was is still visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project [2].
