A quarry shown on the 1st epoch 1:25 inch Ordnance Survey map, on which it is described as 'Old Quarry'.
The feature is visible as an earthwork to the south of Lazerton Farm, Stourpaine, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018) and was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
