Full Description
A possible post medieval extractive pit at Pamphill Green is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).
The feature comprises a linear scarped depression approximately 56m long. ITtis situated on the west side of a historic trackway recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
The feature was digitally plotted from current Lidar imagery by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
