Full Description
Ditched linear features to the east of Tadden are visible on aerial photographs (1-2).
The features comprise a series of narrow linear ditches, some of which are interlinked and feed into large sinuous drainage channels recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (3). The features are considered likely to be historic drainage ditches and/or field boundaries of probable post medieval origin.
The site is still open fields under crop on current Google Earth imagery and the features are still variously visible in certain years. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
