Summary

Parish church completely rebuilt in 1861 by T H Wyatt. Walls of flint with ashlar bonding courses and flint with ashlar blocks, and slate roofs with gable stone copings. Nothing now remains of the earlier medieval and eighteenth century churches apart from some resited monuments. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description

The Parish Church of All Saints, in the east of the village, was rebuilt in 1861 to designs by T. H. Wyatt; the former church, built circa 1740, appears to have incorporated some part of a medieval structure, but nothing of this remains today. Some fittings from the two earlier churches are reset in the present building. <2>

Regy); the former church, built c.1740, appears to have incorporated some part of a mediaeval structure (Hutchins I,284), but nothing of this remains today. Some fittings from the two earlier churches are reset in the present building.'
