Summary

Two parallel linear ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field immediately north of The Old Farm House, Lower Barnsley Farm. The features run for 120m in a southwest direction and are of uncertain date. They appear to cut across the lynchets described in MDO41817 and may be later prehistoric or historic/modern origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Two parallel linear ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field immediately north of The Old Farm House, Lower Barnsley Farm (1). The features run for 120m in a southwest direction and are of uncertain date. They appear to cut across the lynchets described in MDO41817 and may be later prehistoric or historic/modern origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
