Full Description
A field system of probable prehistoric date is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on Kings Down (1-4). The bank and ditched features cover an area of 20 hectares in the fields surrounding the King Down Barrow Group (MDO5884-7). The field boundaries underlie the modern field pattern and are considered to be of prehistoric in origin, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
