The probable site of a post medieval extractive pit is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the northeast of The Marl Pit described in MDO41803 (1). It is still visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2014 (2). The site was diigitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
