A sub-oval ditched feature to the south of Kingston Lacy Park is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The feature comprises a sub-oval depression approximately 32.5m long by 26m wide and is considered likely to be a small post medieval extractive pit.

The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
