Full Description
The probable site of a prehistoric trackway with associated enclosures and boundaries is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on King Down, Pamphill (1-3). The site covers 10 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. A double ditch trackway appears to overlie (or be overlain by) the settlement enclosure described separately in MDO5867. It is associated with field boundaries to the north and a possible rectilinear enclosure.
