Full Description
A ditched linear feature to the west of Kingston Lacy Park is faintly visible on aerial photographs (1-2).
The feature comprises a narrow curvilinear section of ditch over 110m in length and with a an outward curve at its west end. It may be a field boundary or trackway, possibly of late prehistoric date although a later origin is also possible. An undated enclosure (MDO5890) is recorded within 40m to the south and it is possible the feature is associated with this monument.
The site is still fields on current Google Earth imagery. The feature is still visible in some years. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
