Summary

A sub-circular ring ditch to the northeast of Barford Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The feature is potentially late prehistoric in origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow. Itwas digitally plotted from these sources by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A possible Bronze Age barrow to the northeast of Barford Farm is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (1).

The feature comprises a sub-circular ring ditch approximately 23.5m in diameter, to include a ditch of approximately 4m wide. The ring ditch is potentially of late prehistoric origin, possibly a Bronze Age barrow.

The feature was digitally plotted from aerial photographs by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
