Full Description
A linear banked feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the north/northwest of Summerlug Hill, south of the Holt Road. It is 340m long and considered to be a field boundary of medieval or later date, it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

‘Secondly at Holt Heath there is a wasted bank running from about 064 048 – 069 949 (near Summerlug Hill). It is 2ft x 4yd, with a ditch on the south and is similar to the recorded banks on the Heath.’
