Full Description
A large banked enclosure (200m by 140m) is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1954 on rough-ground under what is now Redwood Drive (1). It is partially marked on the OS 1st edition map (2) and considered to be part of a wider field system which may be of post medieval, medieval or even earlier origin. An intermittent linear bank running northwards may be part of a second enclosure or field. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
