Summary

Linear ditched features to the northwest of New Barn Farm are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The features are of uncertain origin but may be part of a trackway of possible late prehistoric date. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Linear ditched features to the northwest of New Barn Farm are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (1).

The features comprise two sections of double ditch positioned 6m apart and parallel to each other on a broadly SW-NE alignment. Altogether the features extend over a distance of approximately 110m. They are of uncertain origin but may be part of a trackway of possible late prehistoric date.The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
