Summary

A long linear banked feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Holt Heath. It forms the western edge of the field system described in MDO41584 and runs northwards to MDO5753 where it curves westward and then southwestward where it forms the southern boundary of Drivers Plantation. The feature cuts across the enclosures of MDO5753 and is considered to be a 18th or 19th century boundary. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A long linear banked feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Holt Heath (1-2). It forms the western edge of the field system described in MDO41584 and runs northwards to MDO5753 where it curves westward and then southwestward where it forms the southern boundary of Drivers Plantation. The feature cuts across the enclosures of MDO5753 and is considered to be a 18th or 19th century boundary. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
