Full Description
A sub-circular ring ditch in a field to the northwest of Lake Farm, Pamphill, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (1).
The feature is approximately 15m in diameter, including a 0.75m wide outer ditch. It is considered likely to be a Bronze Age barrow; a second , slightly larger ring ditch is also visible just 9m to the southeast, suggesting two probable barrows at this location (see also MDO41505).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
