Summary

The probable site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of the now disused Southampton and Dorchester railway. The site has since been levelled and developed as part of the industrial estate on Cobham Road. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

The probable site ofa Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of the now disused Southampton and Dorchester railway (1). The site has since been levelled and developed as part of the industrial estate on Cobham Road (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
